Questions and Answers

"WHEREFORE SEEING WE ALSO ARE COMPASSED ABOUT WITH SO GREAT CLOUD OF WITNESSES, LET US LAY ASIDE EVERY WEIGHT, AND THE SIN WHICH DOTH SO EASILY BESET US, AND LET US RUN WITH PATIENCE THE RACE THAT IS SET BEFORE US,
LOOKING UNTO JESUS THE AUTHOR AND FINISHER OF OUR FAITH; WHO FOR THE JOY THAT WAS SET BEFORE HIM ENDURED THE CROSS, DESPISING THE SHAME, AND IS SET DOWN AT THE RIGHT HAND OF THE THRONE OF GOD."
Now in this part of Holy Scripture we are told to lay aside every weight.  Now this weight would be defined as that sin that breaks your fellowship with God.  When you run a race you want to be as light as possible so you will not get bogged down and tired and lose the race.  Likewise in the Christian life we can get bogged down with the weight of sin in our lives.  Sin has a weight to it precious soul.  That's why you hear a person who has been saved say that he or she feels like the weight of the world has fallen off their shoulders. Sin brings the devil and devils have weight when they are inhabiting a human body!
Also in verse one it says to lay aside that sin which doth so easily beset us.  Whatever that sin is pray about it and lay it aside so you may run the race set before you so that you may be as light as possible and not carry any excess weight.

    86.  WHAT IS ONE THING THE HOLY BIBLE SAYS ABOUT HEAVEN? That one thing is found in 1 Corinthians 2:9 in the Holy Bible,
"BUT AS IT IS WRITTEN, EYE HATH NOT SEEN, NOR EAR HEARD, NEITHER HAVE ENTERED INTO THE HEART OF MAN, THE THINGS WHICH GOD HATH PREPARED FOR THEM THAT LOVE HIM."
In that remarkable passage of Holy Scripture we find that in Heaven we have not seen, heard or even imagined what JESUS has prepared for us.  The Holy Bible actually says that we cannot even imagine what JESUS has for us.  Now that is behond words for me to even express.
Now in my imagination I can imagine some wonderful thoughts about what Heaven would and could be like, but in that verse it is behond what I can even imagine and that is incredible to say the least!
Unfortunately this is what a person misses when he or she rejects JESUS as their own personal Saviour and fortunately for the Christian it is something that we as
BLOOD washed children of the Most High God who is none other than JESUS gain.
Don't let the devil fool you any longer precious soul concerning salvation, Heaven, Hell and life.  Accept JESUS as your own personal Saviour today and you too will be in the land that is behond imagaination!

    87.  WHAT IS THE "SIN UNTO DEATH"? The sin unto death is that sin that only a Christian can commit.  A person who is not yet a Christian cannot commit the "sin unto death".  The "SIN UNTO DEATH" is rebellion! See 1 Corinthians chapter 5 and also 1 John 5:16-17.
Rebellion would be defined as a Christian who is rebelling against the clear direction of the Holy Spirit in his or her life and who is living in sin.  It is a Christian who is not in the center of God's will for his or her life and who is living in sin.  Leaving the center of God's will brings sin.  When a person gets out of the center of God's will he or she is in very deadly and dangerous territory.
We as Christians can get out of the will of God for our lives and we can also get out of the permissive will of God.  Once a Christian is out of the center of God's will he or she enters what is called the permissive will of God which would be that which JESUS allows a Christian to do while in rebellion.
Once a Christian is living in sin and in the permissive will of God there comes a time when he or she crosses over that permissive will of God and when they do so they enter into and commit the "sin unto death"!
Rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft as 1 Samuel 15:23 clearly says.  Since rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft then rebellion is not something to be taken lightly by any means.
As children of God, when we get out of line then JESUS chastises us and any good father would do.
